Lunchtime meals are available for all pupils and are freshly prepared to support healthy eating across the school. Pupils may choose a hot meal, baguette or sandwich option, along with a daily dessert. Families may also choose to provide a packed lunch if preferred. Special dietary requirements are fully catered for.
Lunch money must be paid online. Please contact the school office if you need support with setting up online payments.
The school is not permitted by the Local Authority to give credit.
Parents and carers who wish to check their eligibility for Free School Meals can find full information and apply through Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council:

We work closely with catering services to ensure pupils with allergies, intolerances or medical dietary needs receive safe and appropriate meals. Families can find guidance on how modified diets are managed in RCT schools here:

If your child requires a modified diet, please inform the school office so we can ensure all plans are in place before they start.
We provide breakfast for all pupils in both Primary and Secondary. Breakfast is offered during the normal school day and supports pupils to start their morning calmly and positively. We receive support from the Warburtons Foundation, who provide food for our Secondary pupils as part of their community grants programme.
If parents or carers would like their child to have breakfast in school, please let their class teacher know.
