School Day and Term Dates

The school day at Ysgol Cambrian runs from:

8:50am – 2:50pm

Pupils arrive on Local Authority transport or are dropped off by parents/carers at the designated drop‑off point. Staff are on duty to welcome pupils safely into school and support a calm start to the day. Learning finishes at 2:50pm, and pupils are supported onto transport or collected by families.

Drop‑off, Collection and Safety

For safeguarding reasons, parents and carers do not enter classrooms at the start or end of the day. Pupils are handed over to staff at the designated drop‑off point in the morning and collected from the same area at the end of the day.

If someone different is collecting your child, parents/carers must inform the school office or the class teacher in advance. We cannot release a pupil to an adult who has not been authorised by the parent/carer.

These procedures help us keep all pupils safe and ensure a smooth, well‑supervised start and end to the school day.
